Was Mel B legless?

Geri Halliwell has been spilling the beans on one of her bandmates’ antics on New Year’s Eve.
During the Spice Girls’ show at London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday, Ginger explained why Scary was walking with a limp. “Mel B got so drunk she fell down a flight of stairs and twisted her ankle so she won’t be busting the moves tonight,” she squealed.
Mel B is the second Spice Girl to injure her foot during their current world tour. Emma Bunton took a tumble at a gig in the US and was walking with crutches when they landed in London – but the shows have gone on regardless.
Geri has also been blabbing about the profits the group will be making from their reunion gigs, or lack thereof.
"The truth of the matter is, to put on this tour has cost $37m (£18.6m). We have done this purely to celebrate our fans, the music and ourselves. This is not a money-making expedition. It really isn't. Hopefully we will break even but it's never been about that. If we take home a pay-cheque that's fantastic, but this is about party and celebration."
So it’s for the love? Righty-ho, Pinocchio…
